Creating a 3D Animation Video to showcase the deeper level of skincare
Our team produced a 3D animation video for the international cosmetic brand Merryvital. The challenge was not only to design visually stunning animation but also to ensure that every element supported the brand’s marketing message. The project demanded a seamless balance between creativity, technical precision, and brand alignment, ultimately reinforcing Merryvital’s global identity while showcasing how 3D animation can elevate marketing campaigns with sophistication and engagement.
Our 3D Animation Solution
We developed a 3D animation that showcased the brand’s sophistication through dynamic visuals, detailed product modeling, and cinematic storytelling. By combining realistic textures, fluid motion, and brand-consistent design elements, we delivered a video that felt premium and engaging. Every frame was carefully designed to reflect the cosmetic brand’s unique identity, from colour palettes and lighting to typography and visual composition.

The project began with in-depth briefing sessions to align on objectives, and desired audience impact. From these, we developed creative concepts, storyboards, and style frames to define the narrative and aesthetic direction. Once approved, our technical team moved into production, developing high-resolution 3D models that showcased intricate skin textures and detailed product visuals.
- Designing (Skin Layers & Visual Style): we started by creating detailed 3D models of the skin, showing its layers and texture. The design was guided by skincare science but styled to remain clear, elegant, and visually appealing for a consumer audience.
- Rigging (Dynamic Reactions): The skin models were rigged with digital controls, allowing us to animate changes like hydration, dryness, or absorption of ingredients. This step ensured the visuals could realistically respond to different skincare scenarios.
- Animation (Showing the Transformation):Through animation, we demonstrated how skin reacts under stress and how products restore balance, from moisture penetrating deeper layers to protective barriers forming on the surface. Subtle effects like light, glow, and smooth transitions gave the science an emotional, beauty-driven impact.
Animation was then layered in with pacing, transitions, and visual flow to integrate the 3D assets with brand elements to maximise impact. Every sequence was polished through colour grading, motion cues, and fine-tuned enhancements to achieve a cinematic finish.
Artistic Design
The artistic direction focused on balancing luxury with clarity. Our creative team ensured the visual language communicated both sophistication and scientific credibility. Dynamic lighting was used to highlight textures and add depth, while particle effects added refinement without overwhelming the narrative. To maintain high quality without compromising performance, we optimised 3D assets, textures, and lighting setups.
- Lighting, Shading & Effects: lighting and shading were carefully calibrated to match the project’s tone, combining physically accurate shaders with stylised materials where needed. Particle effects, such as sparks, environmental details, or subtle dust, were simulated with attention to scale and dynamics, ensuring seamless integration.
- Multi-Platform Delivery: from the outset, platform flexibility was a priority. The animation was designed in multiple aspect ratios (16:9 for desktop/broadcast, 1:1 and 9:16 for social) with assets reframed to preserve composition across formats. Compression settings were carefully adjusted, balancing quality with file size to guarantee smooth playback across devices, from large 4K screens to mobile phones.
- Compositing & Colour Correction: All render passes were composited to maximise control over lighting, textures, and effects. Colour grading enhanced visual consistency with the brand palette, while subtle refinements in glow, depth of field, and motion blur elevated the cinematic feel.
- Revision Workflow: After presenting the first draft, structured client feedback was gathered and addressed through round-based revisions. This ensured changes were managed efficiently, avoiding scope creep while keeping the client closely involved until final approval.
