Motion Graphics for eLearning

We were tasked with the production of a motion graphics marketing video for the 2022 AGOA Exporter of the Year awards. The AGOA Exporter of the year awards are facilitated by the International Trade Institute of Southern Africa (ITRISA) and funded by USAID. The awards happen every year, and this was the second year in a row we were responsible for the marketing and content production of the entire event. This even included hybrid live stream events, where we both facilitated the live streams, content production and all follow-up content related to the AGOA Exporter of the year awards show.

The purpose of the video was to highlight the submission process for the Exporter of the Year nominees throughout various categories. The video is a combination of custom motion graphics, design and stock footage. This combination and style of video was perfectly suited for its application, which was to complement their nomination process through simplified instruction. This approach also meant we could produce the video quickly and cheaply as there was no filming or additional organisation required.

For the video narration, one of our team members was the voice artist. This saved the client on budget and reduced any potential delays for recording. The voice recording was done in-house in our recording studio. The script was also written by our team and approved within a day of our kick-off meeting. This style and approach of video meant we could produce the video within a very short timeline and at a minimum budget.

This video was part of a much larger project that involved a multi-disciplined approach of marketing videos, website development, content strategy, social media management, copywriting, eLearning development and LMS development. We were one of few agencies that had the absolute capabilities and capacity to handle a project of this nature and size, while remaining bespoke.

For the video’s transition clips and B-roll we used a combination of stock footage and custom integrated motion graphics. This allowed us to save the client further on budget, while also reducing potential production delays. Some additional benefits of using stock footage include:
