Motion Graphics for eLearning

Learning can become more engaging and interesting with the help of multimedia. With the Trade Forward Southern Africa eLearning project that we were tasked with had that exact objective in mind. The project aimed to educate students on the different aspects of international trade. Our task was to produce a series of eLearning courses that included custom motion graphics video clips and custom design. In this project write-up, we’ll take a closer look at how we made learning easy and fun for the students using motion graphics video clips.

The project involved a variety of services including LMS development, website development, content strategy, social media management, eLearning development, video production, animation development, and SEO. However, in this write-up, we will focus specifically on the use of motion graphics video clips that played a vital role in the success of the eLearning courses.

To create the motion graphics video, we used a combination of filmed footage and stock footage. We then edited the footage in-house using our team’s expertise. By doing so, we could customise the video clips to suit the learning objectives. Our aim was to engage the students by presenting complex information in a simplified format with the help of video clips. We ensured that each video clip was informative, concise, and visually appealing.

The voice artist for the video clips was one of our team members who has voiced hundreds of different videos across multiple clients and campaigns. This not only helped us save on hiring new talent but also ensured consistency in sound and tone throughout the entire eLearning course.

Custom design played a vital role in enhancing the quality of the eLearning courses. We allocated additional budget towards creating custom motion graphics and design which added to the production value of the courses. By using custom design, we could tailor the learning experience to meet the students’ learning needs. The visual aspect of the videos reinforced the learners’ understanding and helped them retain the information.

Lastly, we ensured that each video clip was complementary to the overall content strategy of the eLearning course. We emphasised on designing the video clips to address the learning objectives of the course.

Motion graphics video clips are a valuable tool in enhancing the quality of eLearning courses. It makes learning more engaging, visually appealing, and easily understandable. The Trade Forward Southern Africa eLearning project gave us the opportunity to combine different multimedia elements to create an effective learning experience. By incorporating motion graphics video clips with custom design, we were able to deliver a high-quality eLearning course to the target audience. Our team of experts ensured that every aspect of the eLearning course was designed to maximise understanding and retention among the students. They say a picture speaks a thousand words, but we believe a motion graphics video clip can teach a million concepts in a single go!
