We were tasked with the production of a custom Whiteboard Animation for the EuroQol Group. The EuroQol Group is a network of international multidisciplinary researchers devoted to the measurement of health status across the world. For this project the Whiteboard Animation was focused on the EuroQol Toddler and Infant Populations Questionnaire or EQ-TIPS for short (Previously known as the TANDI). It is an outcome measure of health-related quality of life for children aged between 0-3 years. To gather information on key points covering physical, mental, emotional and social health in an age appropriate manner.

For this project our team custom designed and developed all the animation assets. Our team also wrote the script and recorded the narration in-house with one of our team members as the voice artist. This saved the client on budget that would have been spent on a voice artist, which could then be allocated towards more custom design for the final video. The video also included interactive elements like QR codes and call-to-actions to make the Whiteboard Animation content as accessible as possible. This is another reason why we chose Whiteboard Animation as it allows for simplified explanations in an easy-to-follow presentation. In order for a video of this nature to do well, it needs to as user-friendly as possible so that it motivates people of all denominations to participate. With tools like EQ-TIPS the more data that is gathered the better insights they can pull from it.

As seen in the example it is very easy to enhance a Whiteboard Animation with interactive elements in a manner that is organic and easy to follow.

Low cost: Compared to live-action videos, whiteboard animation is relatively low cost. This makes it a great option for startups, small businesses, and anyone who wants to create engaging content on a budget. It is also an ideal medium for large projects that involve multiple videos. In the case of EuroQol, their tools are constantly evolving which means they need their content to be in a medium that is easy to update like Whiteboard Animation.
